Thanks for explaining the importance of water temperature and time of brewing, most of the people I know, claim it doesn’t matter. Now we just need to assumed the coffee beans were properly roasted

Very good review on coffee makers. I have only ever made coffee through the manual pour-over method with a Melitta cone. From start to finish, it simply takes too long when it’s early in the morning. I need something that I can simply set up, walk away, and come back a few minutes later to have delicious coffee ready to drink. I will definitely look further into the Technivorm. It costs a pretty penny, but hey, if it makes comparable coffee to my pour-over method, then I’ll buy it.
